Pink & From Bloom To Bust

Created for one of the first Kammer Klang evenings in 2008 and unearthed from the archives to celebrate the release of ‘From Bloom to Bust‘, Alice Britton’s film ‘Pink’ is a curious portrait of the collision between super8 and digital filmmaking.

Fiium Shaarrk’s Versions, Remixes and Mashups

Following on from their debut album ‘No Fiction Now!‘ and in anticipation of their new album (which they will be going into the studio to record this autumn), Fiium Shaarrk have opened a compendium on Soundcloud documenting re-imaginations of their released material in the form of eclectic versions by members of the band, remixes by esteemed friends and colleagues and new visions and hallucinations in the form of mash-ups. The set opens with the percussion marathon of Maurizio Ravalico’s version of ‘Fear Of Mapping’ and will be added to periodically … tune in by following Fiium Shaarrk on either Facebook, Twitter or Not Applicable on Soundcloud.

She Spent A Fortune On Lipstick On Me

She spent a fortune on lipstick on me
A pig was impaled beneath the floorboards
The palace retainers turn face-to-the-wall
My daughter Maud fell to the ground in fear
We left his name carved in a corner stone
In the face of death he experienced desire
They threw the switch on the Radnorshire hillside
Serpents slid from the folds in the curtains
A shaman was peddling The Book Of The Dead
Sinking into the vertiginous mire
Through the mist of a pavilion of lies
This is my private beach
This is my Jetsam
