{"id":318,"date":"2009-05-19T15:44:00","date_gmt":"2009-05-19T15:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.not-applicable.org\/?p=318"},"modified":"2009-07-26T12:05:29","modified_gmt":"2009-07-26T12:05:29","slug":"icarus-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.not-applicable.org\/?p=318","title":{"rendered":"Icarus &#8211; London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a conspicuous absence of almost 2 years, Icarus (the electronic duo of Ollie Bown and Sam Britton) return to the London stage in anticipation of their first remix album: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.not-applicable.org\/?page_id=375\">Sylt Remixes<\/a> (which sees their 2007 album <a href=\"https:\/\/www.not-applicable.org\/?page_id=367\">Sylt<\/a> re-worked by the likes of Frank Bretschneider, Ital Tek and Xela amongst others). <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.icarus.nu\/images\/rm09.jpg\" width=\"460\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Icarus&#8217;s set will premiere to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.not-applicable.org\/?p=400\">specially commissioned film<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.not-applicable.org\/?page_id=25\">Martin Hampton<\/a> and support comes from fellow electronic music adventurers ISAN and Yee-King (with the Glass Shrimp on DJ duty). <\/p>\n<p>This promises to be an epic night of out of the box electronic improvisation and experimentation, all locked into place by inhumanly precise polyrhythms.<\/p>\n<p>@ Cafe OTO, 18 &#8211; 22 Ashwin St, Dalston, London, E8 3DL.
