‘D\u00e9jeuner Sous L\u2019Herbe’ brings together the poetic genius of Ted Milton, legendary frontman of Blurt, and the idiosyncratic electronic artistry of Sam Britton AKA Isambard Khroustaliov; fusing avant-garde sound assemblages, improvisation, experimental electro-acoustic textures, and expressive verse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new 2CD release, which arrived in February 2026, captures the singular collaborative vision of The Odes, combining surreal, politically charged poetry, free-jazz saxophone, intricate electronic soundscapes and propulsive rhythms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
