Whilst we’re enjoying the summer, we’re also looking forward to the autumn when we have three new releases coming your way from Leverton Fox, Tom Arthurs / Isambard Khroustlaiov and Fiium Shaarrk. More soon, in the mean time, here’s a peek at the artwork for Leverton Fox’s ‘Velcro Bird’ by Joji Koyama.
After years of playing together in different duo and band situations and many hours spent discussing music and life, Frank Paul Schubert and Rudi Fischerlehner decided to record some free improvisations in their shared studio in Berlin.
“Willing Suspension of Disbelief” is the outcome of that effort. All the music on the album was recorded in one afternoon, and it´s also all the music recorded that afternoon, in the order it was played, unedited. To further explore the various strings woven into this music, the release will be accompanied by remixes.

Fiium Sharrk’s second single for On The Corner Records entitled ‘The Great Swimming Pool Of Liberation’ will be released on June 12th and to celebrate they play a rare London live date at The Forge in Camden. Available on the night will also be a limited edition CD compiling ‘The Great Swimming Pool Of Liberation’ and the ‘Bogan Sunrise’ single from last year – hope to see you down there!
