Since hanging out at STEIM for a week in February at the end of the Icarus FFD tour (developing some new tablet performance interfaces), I’ve developed a penchant for DIY and modular synths. Not being able to afford a Buchla yet, I’ve opted for the next best thing as an addition to my usual set up: the Dirty Electronics Mute Synth – expect a storm of 8bit madness wrapped up in some more familiar DSP shredding.
