‘Déjeuner Sous L’Herbe’ brings together the poetic genius of Ted Milton, legendary frontman of Blurt, and the idiosyncratic electronic artistry of Sam Britton AKA Isambard Khroustaliov; fusing avant-garde sound assemblages, improvisation, experimental electro-acoustic textures, and expressive verse.

This new 2CD release, which arrived in February 2026, captures the singular collaborative vision of The Odes, combining surreal, politically charged poetry, free-jazz saxophone, intricate electronic soundscapes and propulsive rhythms.

Fresh from recording at the illustrious RAK studios in London, Pando Pando are in sharp and curious mood. Looking forward to releasing material later in the year, the trio of Al Bonney, Will Glaser and Jem Doulton are excited to play at Café Oto this February 15th and offer a glimpse to what journeys are in store. Alongside live visuals from artist Ross Adams, it will be a fully immersive experience and a gig not to be missed.

Ancient Psychic Triple Hyper Octopus – Ultra Slop Out or Die

‘Ultra Slop Out or Die’ is part documentation of Ancient Psychic Triple Hyper Octopus’ ruinous live sound (these two tracks were recorded at London’s Cafe OTO in June 2025) and part homage to the intense, experimental noise music that emerged in Japan in the late 1970s and continues undeterred today.

The title and format of the record are inspired most obviously, but not exclusively by Yamantaka Eye & Yoshimi P-We (of the Boredoms) side project ‘Ultra Freak Out Or Die’, whose suite of short form 7” releases continued a trend of Japanese experimental and noise music ‘singles’.

Side A; ‘Cat Acid’ begins with the synthetic cat vocal sounds of the Otamatone before evolving through a free acid spin cycle into a riotous trumpet fuelled coda.

Side B; Recorder Consort Bee Snort is by contrast a plaintive elegy to the tragic death of one of the UK’s billionaire tech bros after inhaling a bee whilst playing polo.

Accompanied by a music video created by AI slop pioneer Synthetic Pink AKA Florian Nackaerts, the record is both homage and manifesto; the Pandora’s box of TechnoGnosticism is here to stay: Ultra Slop Out or Die! 

Will Glaser – Music of The Terrazoku – Album Launch

Music Of The Terrazoku features the genre-defying, experimental music of acclaimed UK musician Will Glaser, with nine celebrated guest collaborators

The monumental double album of experimental, electro-acoustic soundscapes, free improvisation, and avant ambient music, set within a speculative post-climate-apocalypse world, is out on the 24th October 2025.

The Music Of The Terrazoku album launch will be held at King Alfred Phoenix Theatre, London on October 25th 2025 — an immersive evening featuring a full album listening event with live visuals, an exhibition by the contributing visual artists, and an interactive ambient set.

Field Recordings From Other Constellations

In 1965, the Polish writer Stanislaw Lem published a collection of short stories titled The Cyberiad. Their protagonists were Trurl and Klapaucius, two robot “constructors” with practically infinite capabilities; friends and rivals roaming the universe constantly attempting to outdo each other with their inventions. Isambard Khroustaliov and Ben Carey, were greatly enthused by The Cyberiad, both for the “technical chaos” of its stories as well as the dazzling, idiomatic prose style of Lem. On Field Recordings From Other Constellations, they too pit their improvisatory wits with and against one another on a battery of electronic equipment – the ARP 2600, Buchla 200e, Destiny Plus 16 Psyche, Make Noise Strega & Morphagene, Moog ONE, Oberheim OB-X8 and Sequential Prophet 12.

Field Recordings from Other Constellations was recorded on a rainy evening at Coda to Coda’s studios in mid-2023. The four tracks are edited excerpts from a much longer, improvised session. In the session, Carey piloted generative patches on his Buchla 200e synthesiser, whilst Khroustaliov’s setup made use of custom machine listening software to control a studio full of interconnected synths. The result was a human and machine collaboration, with Khroustaliov and Carey both tweaking and performing their instruments in response to each other, and their machines’ own twisted agencies.
